The Peterson Institute for International Economics, a leading think tank located at Dupont Circle, Washington, DC, is seeking the services of an independent research analyst. This individual will conduct research and proofread and edit text as an independent contractor working with Dr. Olivier Blanchard on the revision of his Macroeconomics textbook. These services are needed for approximately 20 hours per week. The contractor will work remotely on her or his own computer and have the flexibility of setting their own schedule, subject to certain limitations.
The project will take place between January and June 2019. The skills required are a very good knowledge of and interest in intermediate undergraduate macroeconomics, good knowledge of excel and some econometric package such as Stata, good editing skills, and an attention to detail.
