Christopher G. Collins joined the Peterson Institute for International Economics as a research analyst in August 2018. He works with Senior Fellow Joseph E. Gagnon on issues related to international finance and monetary policy.
Prior to joining the Peterson Institute, Collins was a research assistant in the International Finance Division of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors where he prepared the staff forecast of the foreign exchange value of the dollar and research on corporate finance and asset pricing topics. He was also an intern in the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs.
Collins is pursuing a master's degree in mathematics and statistics at Georgetown University. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Drexel University and a graduate certificate in international development from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
